Comprehensive Approaches to Sex Offender Management (CASOM) Training Grant

The Comprehensive Approaches to Sex Offender Management Training and Technical Assistance (CASOM) Grant Program, authorized by 42 U.S.C. 13941, supports training programs to assist probation officers, parole officers, and others who work with released sex offenders in the areas of case management, supervision and relapse prevention.

This project will support the development and implementation of a state-wide comprehensive training program to meet the needs of professionals working with adult and juvenile sex offenders as well as identify strategies for improving the use of assessment tools as an effective way of managing sex offenders living in the community.
