California Sex Offender Registry's Disaster Recovery Plan

The California Department of Justice proposes to utilize FY 2019 AWA funds to contract for the creation and implement a disaster recovery plan for the technologies that support the California Sex Offender Registry (CSOR). An enterprise-wide disaster recovery solution is required to reduce the risks associated with unanticipated outages to CSOR technologies and continue to provide vital information to criminal justice agencies, the National Sex Offender Registry and the National Sex Offender Public Website. The contractor will conduct a detailed analysis to identify and prioritize critical applications, identify threats and vulnerabilities that could disrupt operations, document recovery standards and outline preventive measures to reduce risk.
