Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2019, $336,653)

This project will assist the counties of Bernalillo and Santa Fe in improving sex offender registration compliance and prosecution rates for sex offenders out of compliance, and to improve collaborative partnerships with the counties, local law enforcement agencies, and tribal police departments. Additionally, funds will be used to provide training to law enforcement and other criminal justice agency personnel responsible for sex offender registration, notification, monitoring and management.
