Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2019, $149,928)
Clark County will use the grant funds to purchase a livescan, which will convert paper documents to digital format and provide registered sex offenders with a registration booklet. Additionally, funds will be used to hire a sex offender registration and notification deputy to coordinate quarterly face-to-face address verifications via newly established Sex Offender Verification Teams and support a victim-centered notification process, which victims will have a direct link to the CCSO Victim Services Team who will keep them informed in a timely manner.
