Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2020, $399,920)
The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians will support continued implementation of SORNA through enhancement strategies, including safety training for law enforcement and other criminal justice agency personnel responsible for sex offender registration, notification, monitoring and investigating failure-to-register cases and/or management. Additionally, a training plan will be developed and used at community meetings and for partner collaboration. Funds will also support personnel, fringe, travel, supplies and other costs. CA/NCF
