Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2019, $149,848)

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office will use grant funds to expand and enhance their sex offender unit to meet the continuous growth of sex offenders in the county. The funding will assist the agency with enhancing the program’s effectiveness by providing overtime salary and benefits for sex offender unit staff and purchasing new equipment and supplies. CA/NCF
