Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2019, $100,000)
Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet will use grant funds to retain probation and parole officers to monitor sex offenders. This award will also be used to purchase electronic signature pads thereby enabling probation and parole officers to have sex offenders sign required forms to ensure compliance. Lastly, these grant funds will allow the probation and parole officers to attend SMART Office sponsored training or approved sex offender registration training. CA/NCF
