SMART FY 2024 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program: Rosebud Sioux Tribe

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe’s sex offender registry office is successfully registering, tracking and updating sex offender information on a daily basis, as well as providing community outreach and education. The Tribe will use AWA funds to enhance community awareness of sex offenders residing in the jurisdiction and increase knowledge of offender registration requirements; enhance and expand collaboration with law enforcement and other criminal agencies on information sharing at state, local and federal levels; enter sex offender registration information data with finger/palm prints into the TAP Kiosk; and enhance law enforcement training on SORNA requirements.
