The Wyandotte Nation will use AWA grant funds to support salary and fringe of its sex offender registry (SOR) officer. The SOR Officer will carry out several aspects of public notification in their role, which includes educating the public about the registry and providing signage and notices regarding the requirements for any visiting offenders and the requirements regarding presence restrictions imposed by the Nation.
