SMART FY 2024 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program: Hawaii Department of the Attorney General

The Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center, the Criminal Justice and Investigations Divisions and the Department of the Attorney General, in collaboration, propose to continue to carry out the requirements of SORNA by working together to register sex offenders, conduct in person and mailed compliance/verification checks, classify sex offenders into SORNA compliant tiers and process and update sex offender registration records. They will carry out these activities by continued employment of investigators and student helpers in their Sex Offender Tracking Unit.
