FY 2024 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program: State of Alabama - Prosecution

The Alabama Office of Prosecution Services (OPS) will use AWA grant funds to retain the SORNA Resource Prosecutor who will train prosecutors, law enforcement, probation and parole, and other criminal justice agencies that prosecute, register, monitor, and track sex offenders in Alabama. In addition, the Resource Prosecutor will provide officer safety training to law enforcement and expand community education by developing and distributing sex offender community awareness training.
