SMART FY 2024 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program: The Chippewa Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy Reservation

Chippewa Cree Tribe will utilize AWA grant funds to continue to carry out comprehensive sex offender registration by retaining personnel. The Tribe proposes supporting compliance with SORNA through the development and enhancement of its registration and notification program which includes continued community outreach and trainings for local law enforcement on sex offender registration and notification in combination with sexual assault awareness. Additionally, the Tribe proposes to implement and maintain its records management project by converting documents to digital format.
