FY 2023 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

The South Dakota Attorney General’s Office will use AWA grant funds to 1) develop, conduct and attend training for personnel, prosecutors and law enforcement from local, state, tribal and federal jurisdictions; 2) improve the technology and infrastructure related to the collection, analysis, upload and maintenance of offender DNA samples and profiles; 3) improve the infrastructure and technology in the registry; and 4) upgrade hardware provided to local registering agencies.
