The Bois Forte Reservation Tribal Council will use AWA grant funds to support its probation/SORNA officer position to successfully carry out the duties and requirements for maintaining a consistently compliant SORNA program and to increase community knowledge and awareness of the SORNA program and registered sex offenders in its jurisdiction. This will be done through attending and hosting community events and having display booths.
