FY 2023 Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

The Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation will use AWA grant funds to enhance current registration and notification programs. To support this effort, the tribe will use the grant funds for personnel who manage and enforce SORNA by registering and monitoring sex offenders residing, working or going to school within the boundaries of the reservation. Additionally, funds will support training and travel; supplies, including palm print scanners, portable printers and laptops; and public notification via newspaper, radio and social media explaining the SORNA registration processes.
