FY 2023 Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

The New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety will use AWA grant funds to continue to move toward SORNA implementation by continuing to fund the costs of NCIC Boost software, new hardware, training for best practices and equipment that will help ensure compliance with SORNA standards. The New Jersey State Police deployed the OffenderWatch NCIC Sync application for entry of NSOR files. While the deployment alleviated issues leading to noncompliance with the FBI or state police audit, it left many records—like data verification—out of compliance. NCIC Boost will help fix these issues.
