Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $200,000)
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is the central repository for all predatory offender records in Minnesota. Grant funds will be used to support the continued enhancement of its outdated online public registry, which will allow for more connectivity and adding additional categories of registration data—including addresses and vehicles—bringing Minnesota closer to compliance with SORNA’s public notification requirements. Funding will also support procurement contracts for the SORNA program’s project manager, quality assurance analyst and developer positions.
