FY 22 AWA Grant Program: Florida Department of Law Enforcement

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement will use grant funds to enhance and maintain SORNA implementation by supporting the salary of an attorney with the Office of Prosecution Services. The attorney will perform legal research of sexual predators and offenders, obtaining registration and court documentation and determining registration requirements. Grant funds will also support participation in national SORNA training and will perform statewide SORNA training within Florida for criminal justice partners; equipment; supplies; other; and indirect costs.
