FY 22 AWA Grant Program: West Virginia Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety

The West Virginia Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety will utilize grant funds to hire part-time/temporary employees to focus solely on the digitization of all current files in the registry. These employees will be responsible for prepping and scanning over 6500 files in the system. Additionally, grant funds will support a high resolution/high volume fax, scanner, printer that will enable the digitization of sex offender files, and overtime for the sex offender registry staff, information service staff members, and field troopers.
