FY 22 AWA Grant Program: Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet

The Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet will use grant funds to make a subaward to Kentucky Department of Corrections (DOC), who will use grant funds to support salaries of four probation and parole officers and to add the salary of an additional officer who monitor sex offenders supervised by the DOC. The grant funds will also be used to obtain Cellebrite UFED Touch 2 technology which allows DOC personnel to retrieve data on a sex offender’s mobile device to ensure they are not in violation of supervision. In addition, funds will support attendance for the four-project staff at a national conference or training event.
