FY 22 AWA Grant Program: Department of Safety and Homeland Security

The primary purpose of this project is to develop software to improve the efficiency of the Delaware Sex Offender Registry (SOR). This increased efficiency will provide information to federal databases, specifically the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). The software proposed will expediently allow employees of the Delaware SOR to register sex offenders, which will decrease the amount of time between registration/verification and NCIC entries and other required checks and result in real-time data transfer. The modification will enhance sex offender tracking and management throughout the state of Delaware, and hardware will be deployed at three Delaware SOR locations.
