FY 22 AWA Grant Program: White Mountain Apache Tribe

This project will further the Tribe’s plan to develop, educate, and implement its SORNA Program. The project will continue to provide for a sex offender registration program and continued support with coordinated inter-agency and inter-jurisdictional efforts. The SORNA Program will continue to achieve its goals to include the following milestones: 1) continuance of the SORNA Program and recovery of program personnel; 2) exploration of Juvenile Sex Offender Registration issues on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation; and 3) establishment of policies and procedures for SORNA Compliance Officers.
