The Wyoming Office of the Attorney General (WYAG) is the designated agency in the State of Wyoming providing centralized collection, collaboration, and service for SORNA data on convicted sex offenders in the State. The goals of this funding are to: 1) enhance jurisdiction wide implementation of and maintain continued compliance of the State of Wyoming with SORNA requirements through technological advancements and continued usage of the functions of WSOR; 2) continued use of Safe Virtual Neighborhood (SVN) application and continued offering to the citizens of Wyoming at no cost; 3) enhance biometric sample offender collection and analysis by the Wyoming State Crime Laboratory (WSCL); and 4) ensure that all Wyoming staff (on the local, state, and federal levels) who work on maintaining WSOR receive adequate and up to date training/knowledge.
