FY21 New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Support for Adam Walsh Act

The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) is a division within the N.J. Department of Law and Public Safety, and will use grant funds to purchase live scan printing devices to assist with the collection, storage and submission of sex offender biometric data to the state or the FBI in compliance with SORNA; tablets for use by municipal agency personnel to register and verify registered sex offenders; monitors for NJSP use to increase the technological infrastructure of the N.J. Sex Offender Registry; and a vehicle to assist with meeting the requirements of the Sex Offender Registry Squad of the NJSP with extensive travel throughout the state.
