Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $400,000)

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) will use grant funds for pass-through subawards to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) and Pennsylvania Office of Victim Advocate (OVA) to support the following: 1) personnel costs for local and state law enforcement related to absconder investigations, digitization of files, and statutory requirements; 2) costs related to the case review requirements established by Pennsylvania Act 10 of 2018 and continued adherence to PA SORNA requirements; 3) PSP costs related to training law enforcement officers through-out the state on PA SORNA requirements; 4) continued critical resources provided by OVA, which partners with PSP to assist on the important mandate of victim notification; and 5) PSP costs related to the purchase of equipment to enhance work environment flexibility and availability.
