FY21 Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma Support for Adam Walsh Act

The Absentee Shawnee Tribal Police Department has identified and intends to address the following issues with the 2021 SORNA grant funding: equip and deploy several mobile tablets with internet capabilities for use during sex offender compliance check operations; address the lack of community outreach due to the COVID-19 pandemic; expand community outreach and engagement and assure public safety through digital media; purchase additional radios to increase interoperability between agencies and allow for increased radio range and officer safety when working with these agencies; and install mobile radio repeaters.
