FY21 Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin Support for Adam Walsh Act

The Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin (MITW) will use grant funds to support the maintenance of the SORNA registration and notification process; increase the number of officers trained on SORNA compliance; maintain and improve collaborations; purchase and update the current finger scan equipment for proper offender registration within federal and state requirements; and create and implement training for non-law enforcement agencies on the reservation to include town hall-like meetings for the community.
