FY21 Gila River Indian Community Support for Adam Walsh Act

The Gila River Indian Community’s Police Department (GRPD) proposes to use funds to enhance its already substantially implemented Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) Program within the rural and economically distressed community of the Gila River Indian Reservation. GRPD plans to improve its sex offender registry system, support and maintain SORNA compliance by meeting program project goals, provide training opportunities to GRPD SORNA staff implementing sex offender registration and notification program activities, and enhance SORNA-related nationwide information sharing.
