Yolanda Curtis Gibson

Grants Management Specialist

Yolanda Curtis Gibson is a grants management specialist in the Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART) for the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. Ms. Gibson manages the National Sex Offender Public Website grant program and numerous awards under the Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program. 

Prior to joining the SMART Office, Ms. Gibson was both a grants management specialist and supervisory grants management specialist at the Department’s Office for Victims of Crime (OVC).  While at OVC, she managed staff and oversaw grants under various tribal programs including the Tribal Victim Services Set Aside Program (TVSSA), the Children’s Justice Act Partnerships for Indian Communities Program and the Developing Future Victim Specialists to Serve American Indian/Alaska Native Victims of Crime Program. Ms. Gibson was also responsible for implementing the construction program under the OVC TVSSA Program.

Ms. Gibson holds a B.A. in international relations from Agnes Scott College and an M.A. in public administration from Howard University. She also holds a Grants Management Certificate from Management Concepts.
