Sarah Blazucki

Communications Coordinator

Sarah Blazucki is communications coordinator for the Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART) for the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. She manages publications, responses to information requests, marketing and social media for SMART.

Prior to joining the SMART Office, Ms. Blazucki held Writer-Editor positions at the U.S. Agency for International Development Office of Inspector General and the Peace Corps. In these positions, she supported external communications across publications, marketing, public affairs and congressional relations. During her tenure at the Peace Corps, she supported the agency’s implementation of a new program and updated policies on sexual assault risk reduction and response.

Prior to her federal experience, Ms. Blazucki was the editor of an award-winning weekly newspaper in Philadelphia. In addition, she has edited a range of print and online publications, including books, magazines, newspapers, reports, press releases, web and social media content and marketing materials.

Ms. Blazucki received her B.A. in mass communications, with a minor in women’s studies from Towson State University.
