Alabama Office of Prosecution Services (OPS) will utilize grant funds to train prosecutors, law enforcement, probation and parole, and other criminal justice agencies that prosecute, register, monitor and track sex offenders in Alabama. OPS will also utilize a SORNA resource prosecutor to be available 24 hours per day for prosecutors, law enforcement, probation and parole, and other criminal justice agencies that prosecute, register, monitor and track sex offenders; and provide officer safety training to law enforcement who register, monitor and track sex offenders. All of these are necessary tools to ensure compliance with SORNA.CA/NCF
